FROM APRIL 1ST 2022, NO GREEN PASS IS REQUIRED TO ACCESS THE CASTLE.

We suggest all visitors to maintain the correct social distances for the entire tour.

Tickets for the Castle tour are available only in pre-purchase online in our website until the prior day of the visit and are not refundable.
Other time slots may be added according to the weather and to the turnout.

The Castle can be visited also during weekdays by RESERVATION ONLY, and for groups of at least 20 people.

The Park at Grazzano Visconti Castle offers many tours specifically created for schools, with educational and recreational programs.

Knights: the treasure is waiting for you

The Knights’ treasure is waiting for you
Boys and girls will be the protagonists of battles, wild chases, ambushes, discoveries, in the magic location of the Castle’s Park. Divided in heraldic families they will search within the park for a hidden treasure.

Age range: from the Third Class of Primary School to the Third Class of Middle School
Duration: 2 hours

Orienteering challenge

After a short training, where the children will learn to use a map and a compass, the children will take part in a challenge where they will have to reach a given targeted location in the shortest time, passing by a series of check-points.

Age range: from the Third Class of Primary School to the Third Class of Middle School
Duration: 1.5 hours

Botanic Orienteering

For this particular challenge the children will learn how to recognize the different trees and their parts. They will be divided in small groups and each group will have a map and chart with all the different parts of the trees in the park. The aim is to match each tree to its correct leaf.

Age range: from the Fifth Class of Primary School to the Third Class of Middle School
Duration: 1.5 hours

Doc Nature

The children will discover the great world of small-size fauna. They will learn how to recognize, interact and help in the correct way, the small wild animals in difficulty that they will meet along their path.

Age range: from the Last year of Preschool to the Fifth Class of Primary School

Not only leaves

Trees and plants are made of many different parts. In this amusing workshop the children will search for plants while learning their secrets and how to recognize them not only by their leaves.

Searching for traces

An amusing search for animal traces all around the Park. Not just footprints, but any trace that the animals leave in the wild, elements that will help the children learn how animals live in their natural environment.

Aloisa’s Enchanted Garden

In the enchanted locations of the Castle and the Park, the children will be the active protagonists of a magic tale. Aloisa is the guardian of the garden that must be saved, and her friends are coming to her aid. Strange characters will appear among the trees of this wonderful garden and among the walls of Castle.

Snooping around the woods

In the Park, the children will discover the wonders of Nature by observing, smelling, touching and listening to the surrounding environment. A sensorial itinerary with lots of amusing activities and games.

Workshops

“Weaver Master” textile workshop, “Paper Master” parchment paper workshop, “Colours of Nature” natural colours workshop.
A range of workshops to stimulate the children’s creativity and craftsmanship skills. All participants will bring home their own hand-made creation.

Duration: 2 hours

Special Autumn Workshop: The Magic Atmosphere of an Autumn Garden

The children will take part in a treasure hunt in the garden immersed in the magic atmosphere of the season, searching for the most colourful leaves used after to create their own art piece.
